It was towards the end of the third day of men’s fashion week. Guests were pleasantly exhausted by the tight scheduling of the shows, but they sat obediently in the lounge and enjoyed free pita chips from Amazon as they exchanged contacts and took some snaps with celebrities. We were all caught up in a burning desire to see the hot cakes that George Sotelo had been baking for the past six months — for the past seasons, the hot cakes had never disappointed!
The cakes were finally ready to serve. They were fresh and undressed. Truly a hot mess. Enough about the cakes, more about the swimwear everyone. Each model looked very posh in bright-colored swimwear that came in various cuts. Though static, the presentation seemed very candid and genuine as the models showed responsive attitudes towards the cameras and made brotherly interactions with one another.
Nyle DiMarco, American Next Top Model and Dancing with the Stars champion, was present during the show wearing a yellow tortoise swim trunks with a pair of navy sneakers from Greats (greats.com). Other than looking very comfortable, the trunk was designed in a reasonable length, which makes it wearable not only for beach purposes, but also a stroll-in-a-park kind of day. The combination of bright yellow, peacock green, and black will make you stand out among other joggers, or swimmers, or competitors, if you are aiming to win a heart with the trunk. This pose is exclusively for Fashion Times Daily love!
Below are other must-haves from the show that will make sitting still until Spring 2017 difficult. The application of patterns and color gradations are what set the collections apart from other designer swimwear. Ladies, be inspired by the women’s collections while enjoying some major eye-candies! They are not any less appealing than the men’s, or the men.
